Press the 'Power' button, select the 'Preheat' function, set the temperature to 350°F. Press the 'Start' button to preheat the oven.

Pave a baking tray with foil and drizzle with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Spread the olive oil all over the pan.

Add the potatoes, whole garlic cloves, rosemary, salt and pepper. Drizzle with a teaspoon of olive oil and stir thoroughly. Arrange them along the edges of the plate, leaving a space in the middle for the onions and chicken.

Place onion slices in a single layer in the middle and sprinkle with salt. Set aside.

Butter the chicken. In a small bowl, mix the soft butter with the rosemary, minced garlic, salt and pepper and beat them with a fork to form a smooth paste.

Take three-quarters of the mixture and apply it under the skin of the chicken breast, between the breast and the skin, massaging it well and spreading it as evenly as possible. Cover the chicken with the remaining butter.

Fill the inner cavity of the chicken with a whole lemon cut in half and a whole garlic cut in half. Then tie the legs together with kitchen twine or string.

Place the prepared chicken on the onion slices. Sprinkle the top evenly with salt and pepper.

After the end of the preheat prompt, select the 'Roast' function, set the temperature to 350°F and the time to 45 minutes, press the 'Start' button; put the baking tray in the middle of the oven and start baking.
